The old guard in this denomination and in our pews from week to week knocks it out of me daily, but reading these stories about the up and coming (and already there) church leaders and the youth with whom they are sharing and learning gives me great hope. My hope is that we all might be more like these hopeful church leaders and youth, open to what God is saying to us in the here & now, and less like the old guard who hordes and protects the way it's always been. Thanks so much for posting these--I needed it today.
